Be an Angel - Clear that Clutter

A book that is all about the author’s journey from clutter to clarity, charting the madness in between, that would apply to most people! It is full of inspiration and ideas to help people achieve the much longed for ‘oasis of calm’ that many are looking for in their life. It’s an instant starter and brings with the learning a sense of humour and a reality check. From not having to hunt through loads of drawers to find the one thing you are looking for; to being able to see your carpet again, this book can aid the reader in taking the first step from clutter to clutter-free in an easy, practical and funny way that makes one feel at easy rather than the normal feeling of inadequacy and being overwhelmed.

This is such a cute book, it sells itself as funny and useful and really does deliver: Jacky Newcomb is a new author to me and I found the way she writes entertaining and honest. As a coach and therapist myself, none of it was particularly new to me. Yet it’s surprising how much we take for granted in our knowledge bank and when you read something that you have not thought about for a while, it jogs you back to re-remembering how it was when life was easier and you did put into practice the things that you know. She breaks timings down into chunks and teaches us how to make use of short periods of normally wasted time (for example ad breaks on TV), how to deal with unwanted gifts appropriately, how to help others de-clutter and how to stay tidier from now on amongst other things. I can wholeheartedly recommend this as a lovely read that will produce some great results if you want to follow the advice.
